Nigel will be making several appearances at the Superchef stand so come and have a chat, take a look at his new cookery tuition dvd’s and treat yourself to one of his special Christmas flapjacks or a Minichef bun. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Harwood Country Estate this first class event offers you, the public, the opportunity to indulge and immerse yourselves in the spirit of Christmas. This prestigious show boasts a fantastic backdrop as it is the home of the Queen’s cousin, the Earl of Harewood, and provides a wonderful day out for the whole family.

This event is very well established and is reported to have attracted in the region of 5,000 – 7,000 visitors in previous years. The event has three distinctive areas:

Craft Pavilion – This area provides the public with an opportunity to browse and purchase 1000’s of British hand crafted products and the unique experience of meeting the craft worker who produced the items on sale.

Food Hall - Featuring demonstrations by Celebrity Chef “Richard Fox” from BBC Look North Fox on the run and the new series on BBC2 that launches in October. The food hall has a vibrant festive atmosphere offering the public the chance to sample and take home some of the country’s finest gastronomic delights.

Retail - Offering the public a huge choice of unique high quality products in relaxed and enjoyable surroundings.
 

For the comfort of the public this event takes place in heated floored marquees.

Proposed attractions include:
Bell Ringers, Carol Singers, Reindeer, Donkeys, Chef Demonstrations, Chainsaw Carving, Glass Blowing, Mince Pies and a Bucket load of Christmas Cheer.
SANTA WILL ALSO BE PUTTING IN AN APPEARANCE.

How to get there:

By Car

The village of Harewood is centrally placed in Yorkshire at the junction of the A61/A659 on the Leeds/Harrogate road. The M1 begins just the other side of Leeds and feeds into the Trans Pennine M62 which in turn feeds into the M6/M5 on the western side and the M18/A1 on the east. There is ample free parking.

- 7 miles from Leeds and Harrogate on the A61
- 5 miles from Wetherby and the A1
- 22 miles from York
- 9 miles from Leeds/Bradford airport
- 8 miles from the M1

By Bus

Harewood is situated on two good bus routes:

No 36 to Harewood from Leeds and Harrogate runs at least every 20 Minutes during the day on Monday to Saturdays and every 30 Minutes during the day on Sundays. For more details please call Harrogate and District on 01423 566061
