Chocolate and Sugarwork One Day Cookery Course

This course hits the spot every time. Using chocolate of every variety you can create ‘to die for’ desserts such as roularde, chocolate and caramel tart, truffles and honeycomb, make beautiful sugar baskets, spirals and butterflies and learn how to make the perfect ganach.

We will provide you with suitable containers to take home any dishes you have prepared.

The Nigel Brown Cookery School has now been launched and a range of fantastic courses are being offered to those taking their first steps in the kitchen to advanced skills and presentation techniques. All the courses are hosted by top chef Nigel in his own kitchen in North Lincolnshire and offer you the chance to spend time in his home enjoying the pleasure of cooking.

These exclusive courses are run for a maximum of 6 students to ensure you get the individual attention you deserve and include an academy apron, recipe booklet, certificate, refreshments and lunch. Gift vouchers are also available if you’d like to treat that special person in your life to a day of fun, laughter and memories they will never forget.

The Academy

Nigel holds these exclusive classes in his very own cookery school kitchen so you can enjoy the pleasure of cooking in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the equipment we use is similar to what you will find in domestic kitchens up and down the country so whatever you learn you can recreate in your own home.

Nigel Brown Chef

We limit our class size to a maximum of 8 so it doesn’t matter whether you’re an accomplished cook or can only switch on a kettle, we have the time to teach everyone some new skills and give you the individual attention you deserve.

All our courses, whether it be a half day session or a full day course with lunch, are fully hands-on and at the end of the class you can take your dishes to enjoy at home.

Cookery School Barton

Courses and classes are held in Nigel’s kitchen at The Ropewalk in Barton upon Humber. Personalised gift vouchers are available for all our courses if you’d like to treat someone special to the ultimate cookery experience whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or just to say ‘thanks’. Course Times 

 

Half Day courses start at 9.30 and finish 12.30pm

1 Day courses start at 10.00 and finish 3.30pm

 2 Day courses include hotel accommodation, evening dinner on day 1 and breakfast on day 2  Day1 1.30pm and Return to hotel 5.30pmDay 2 starts 10.30 and finish 3.30pm(A shuttle transport service will be provided between the hotel and the academy on day 1 of the course)

  All courses have a minimum attendance number of 4 and include academy apron, recipe booklet, certificate, refreshments and lunch
